Dear Mandy

Dear Mandy,

We just went shopping and spent a fair bit of money on frivolous items and Thai food. We talked about a lot of things, including your new job and impending move (back) to Toronto. We talked about my (old) new job and distinct lack of moving. We talked about weddings and food and coffee and friends and yoga and, well, everything.

Now I’m at home reading my new book and watching Grey’s Anatomy and you’re in Seaforth helping Grandma get ready to go dancing.

And I just wanted to thank you for an excellently rainy Saturday, despite our lack of sandwiches.

PS: I think you’re pretty great.
